the only thing that beats this is the time I submitted a conference proposal while sick trying to meet a deadline, in which I eagerly outlined my presentation on OCD and Jackson’s “What We Do in the Castle.” 🙃 That was a fun discovery when I was well again.

@ThatChrisEvans0 Nah, I don’t think they technically had to bc we were all there on RSVP only, it wasn’t a capped number of tickets we could pay for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Still a bummer, but the theater was already inconvenient to get to, so I’m probs just going to catch it at a chain when it drops lol

@AngelikaTexas @FANGORIA heard a lot of stories of line hopping and general cluelessness on the way out. a ton of us had all been there for an hour and a half, in no A/C, and had driven from farther just for seats to run out. somebody really blew this, bc I don’t think anyone wants to come back soon. :/

@AngelikaTexas @FANGORIA aaaand they sent home a packed lobby bc they oversold the theater, like, by three times what it could hold easy. I’d been in line for well before the 7:15 cutoff. a whole lot of us could’ve saved the gas if we’d just waited for streaming or AMC at this rate. :/
