growing up is realizing that hachi is actually a lesbian struggling with comphet and her attraction to men is her succumbing to societal standards of gaining male approval and validation and she’s actually just in love with nana

@kyoruyeye She gets easily attached to men who show her interest but she takes great value in what Nana thinks and feels and makes decisions on that. Her decision to be with Takumi etc, even her letters to Nana reflect her feelings of love to her and I think that's so heart-breaking

@monkeyD_lili Let's not forget the one time Sakura opened up to Naruto about her relationship with her parents. She basically expressed how they talk down on her and she just wants them to be respectful towards her. Almost no one in her life ever believed in her, which is really sad.
