"Wokeness" is destroying American society because it:
- shuts down conversations by labeling opposing views as violence
- pressures people to conform or risk being ostracized
- promotes cancel culture, punishing minor mistakes harshly
-unfairly stereotypes entire groups of people
- limits free speech under the guise of social justice
- encourages a constant sense of victimhood
- fosters resentment towards perceived oppressors
- perpetuates a victim mentality
- undermines the idea of personal responsibility
- fosters divisiveness and tribalism
- undermines the principle of equal treatment
“A review of Eurovision results and how they extrapolate into how Europeans think about geopolitics” (yes it’s a silly post so chill, but there are some takeaways):
- there’s a public vote and a jury vote
- In the public vote, Croatia came first, Israel second, Ukraine third
- In the jury vote, Switzerland was first by far, Ukraine was fifth and Israel … was pretty low …
What does that tell us?
One can make the argument that Eurovision public voters are supportive of Ukraine and Israel. One can also make the argument that those were great songs that deserved those votes.
But given the discrepancy between the jury vote and the public vote for Israel, one can definitely conclude that Eurovision JURY voters are politically biased against Israel.
This is an unbiased post and simply an observation🥹
from macron’s speech today on europe’s future:
the eu must show it “is never a vassal of the united states,”
and warns “europe today is mortal. and it can die.”

@CharlesEllinas In my view, ΔΣ had limited experience in EPC projects. Contractors as well had limited experience in their fields besides the ship yard! The outcome shouldn’t come as a surprise!
A chariot dating back 2000 years, bearing Thracian origins and discovered in Bulgaria, has garnered attention due to its exceptional preservation and unique contents. This four-wheeled wooden chariot, adorned with intricately carved bronze plating and fittings, was found in situ, housing the skeletal remains of two horses and a dog instead of being relocated to a museum.
Thracian chariots, a rarity in archaeological finds, were often interred with as many as eight horses alongside elaborately adorned bridles. The chariot's bronze plating depicts scenes from Thracian mythology, showcasing representations of figures like the god Eros, a leaping panther, and a mythological creature combining the body of a panther with the tail of a dolphin.
What distinguishes this discovery is the exceptional size of the chariot's wheels, measuring approximately 1.2 meters, nearly 4 feet in diameter. Alongside the chariot, the burial site revealed the Thracian nobleman himself, surrounded by the animals and accompanied by wooden and leather artifacts believed to be horse harnesses.
The Thracians, mentioned in Homer's 'Iliad' as allies of the Trojans in their war against the Greeks, were renowned as fierce warriors, adept horse-breeders, and skilled goldsmiths. Establishing a robust kingdom in the fifth century B.C., they eventually succumbed to Roman conquest in the first century and later integrated into Slavic communities during the 6th century. Despite their prominence, their lack of a written language left no formal records, leaving much of their legacy preserved only through archaeological discoveries like this remarkable chariot unearthed in Bulgaria.
