Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752, a Boeing 737 enroute to Kyiv from Tehran, show plane attained an altitude of appx 8,000 ft before data abruptly stopped. Said to have around 180 on board, daybreak pics from the crash site suggest there are no survivors.

@rdaviii @ejvandermeulen @KLM Depends what's happening on board. So long as it can steady itself whilst landing all should be well. Often pilots will declare an emergency just to err on the side of caution if something is a bit awry.
