I flew BC twice in the past yr & on both return legs (LAX-DUB) was served incredibly poor food. The staff apologised & said they would document it

I returned :
Strawberries - frozen solid
Salad - limp with horrible dressing
Pasta - tasteless
Bread roll - stale

Hardly ‘luxury dining’ for a pre-ordered veggie meal

1st time - customer service said it wouldn’t happen again & apologised

More fool me for accepting that

I have now been told, for the 2nd occurrence, they can’t compensate me as they did serve me food

I am a concierge member. I travel to LA 2-3 times a year & Milan to Dublin every 3-4 weeks . I would have been happy with a few Avios points.

Extremely poor customer service & makes no business sense to handle a complaint like this.

I am now looking for other options for my future flights
€10k + pa versus a token voucher ?

Aer Lingus pilots are not on strike they are working to rule, That means no overtime and not answering calls to come in on days off, If a company cannot operate fully without forcing staff to work their days off and do overtime that’s a management problem.
