As part of the AHS Professional Learning and Development program, teaching staff attended a workshop last Friday that was conducted by a familiar face - Mr Neill Smith - who now works for Ian Hunter's Write that Essay company.
Just a reminder that the 2020 Information Sessions on 26 March and 18 June are happening in the school Library.
Also, our annual Open Day will be held on 25 May from 10am-2pm.
Our Year 7A and 7D students were involved in a lesson on Archaeology - the recovery and analysis of material culture. In this case, it was the recovery and cataloging of still-edible choc chip artifacts from their biscuity environment!

Great to see so many parents at the sausage sizzle that was a start to the Year 7 Meet the Teacher Night. Later on, parents had the opportunity to meet teachers and admin, find out more about Year 7 core subjects, and to ask questions.
