@ironbundIe This is why I kind of miss the era of LJ. The communities, the challenges, it's what got me into fanfic writing. Also, the longer blog entries allowed for more discussion, unlike most of the shorter form social media posts today. :/

I know skeleton crew is fond of its pirate references, but the fact that tak rennod is almost an anagram for don karnage is driving me nuts. XP If he isn't a wolfman like brutus, I'll be slightly bummed. ;P

I've said that libraries will always be valuable as an information hub, but I am now regretting those words, because the beloved library of my youth has been turned into just that. -_-; Barely any books visible, white and sterile like some cyber dystopia, ugh

I recall that Carlyle from FE8 used to have a full body portrait available on the official FE site long ago, which I thought I saved, but I never did, and now I'm bummed that it may be lost media :(

What I'm really hoping for is Cathy Weseluck getting to play Cologne for Ranma. She was the OG dub voice for Shampoo, and also played Spike in MLP:FiM. (Cologne won't likely appear until next season though)

Happy with the new English dub for Ranma, though hoping I'll like Kuno's voice too. Ted Cole spouted romantic poetry perfectly, while acting like an utter goofball. ;D One of the few times I prefer the dub over the sub (pompous Kuno is good, but chivalrous perv Kuno is better ;)

I'm also half hoping for more cameos for the OG English dub Ranma voices in the intro eps for their characters, like David Kaye (Soun's VA) playing the mailman in ep 1

Looking forward to the new Ranma reboot! Hoping for some cameos from the OG English dub cast, but I wouldn't bet on it. Also hoping they stay true to the manga this time, though there's already characters I don't recognize in the OP

Watched the Sailor Moon Cosmos movies and was surprised at the Saffir cameo; I was always a big fan of him, despite Saffir being a pretty minor villain overall. (Even made a webpage dedicated to him, back in the day ;P)

Took a peek at the new leaked Ranma OP; surprised the Golden Pair is in it as much as they are, since I am fond of them. Not sure about the new guy with the microphone; I had hoped this reboot would be more accurate to the manga, and not alter the source material again...

Dang, new Rayearth and Ranma 1/2 remakes in the works? I'm looking forward to more faithful adaptations to the manga this time around, like they've done with my beloved Delicious in Dungeon. <3 (Now back to lurking...)

@Pheonixmaster1 Hmm, the glyphs the lords are holding - Are they affinities? Lyn - green (wind?), Roy - red (fire?), Leif - white (light?), Celica - purple (dark?) Not sure of the others, but new mechanic maybe?

If you rearrange the order to the usual, you get brainy Mercury, redhead Mars in the wheelchair, asian tomboy Jupiter, brunette Venus, which makes a bit more sense. Not sure why they changed it; maybe it was regarded as not PC enough

It's fascinating watching the so-called Saban Moon again after all these years. The funny part is, I recall watching a first-hand copy online years ago, but only the opening, not the whole episode

It's odd that most of the Sailors seemed miscast for the roles, though. But then I recalled reading long ago that Mars was in the wheelchair, not Mercury. Then I noticed that the Sailor's intros were in a odd order: Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Venus--
