, my flight on 3th Nov was delayed by over 18 hours and we were abandoned in Phoenix. Over the last month your team made me re-enter my claim several times, and eventually said as it's now more than 21 days since the event, they can't compensate me. WHYYY?

@AmericanAir Your crew at the airport said we could get food and toiletries and spare clothes when the flight was delayed by 18 hours leaving us with no baggage but in the end these were rejected. All we got was a voucher for a hotel that had no space. And no compensation.

@AmericanAir Yes your claims team said because we were abandoned and had no personal items it's a baggage issue but by the time they told me this your baggage team then said they can't do anything as 21 days had past since the event

@AmericanAir British Airways provided my colleague with a full refund within 24 hours. If 16 days and counting acceptable to @AmericanAir then you should clearly explain that at the outset

@AmericanAir How long? My colleague who booked the same flight with British Airways got a same day response and refund on the flight. I still haven't heard anything from you @AmericanAir

@AmericanAir Dear @AmericanAir it's been over 2 weeks and still no word. What is your policy on delays that are over 18 hours late? What's your policy on responding to reimbursement requests?
