🚨Last week we were awarded the build of Finland's future icebreakers. Today we were awarded Canada's heavy icebreaker fleet. We are already building the United States Arctic Security Cutters and the PolarMax for Canada. Inocea is leading the way in Arctic shipbuilding.

A major contract has been awarded under the National Shipbuilding Strategy to design and build 6 program icebreakers for the @CoastGuardCAN. Under the Buy Canadian Policy, these vessels will be built with Canadian materials while maximizing opportunities for Canadian businesses.

All six will be built in Canada, with Canadian steel, at the Davie Shipyard in Lévis, Québec — creating nearly 5,000 good jobs during construction alone.
