If you want to try Advent of Code in OCaml (or ReasonML!) my friend and coworker, @Sixstring982, created an amazing getting started repo 🔥
It includes a CLI to ✨automatically✨download input, test your solutions, and submit your answers!

@atdiy@hamclock Bit of a last minute call on my part but we will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Also gonna be on the look out for a digital badge for sale.
Dear @NETGEAR, Putting the private key for a CA blessed certificate in firmware is a bad idea. @nstarke and I found a couple a couple terrible things. https://t.co/swndpwGctj
🌠My @elastic coworker and sans-twitter OCaml mage hcarty has opened a couple of our internal OCaml libraries for using mariadb and building restful services: https://t.co/EUCrv3Qi7w https://t.co/wBVQxaS5mr #ocaml#fp 🐫
We are observing ~50 non-benign devices opportunistically crawling the Internet for or exploiting Citrix CVE-2019-19781

I'm hiring a security research engineer: we track adversaries, research emerging threats, give back to the community, and provide detection logic for @elastic products.

The context: why am I spending so much time writing about _one_ study (https://t.co/PCLOUE3Fru) on programming languages? My first thoughts took a day to write (https://t.co/rUz4cagwT8) and my second draft is over 4,000 words long. Why do I care when the answer is so obvious?
Activists often wonder why the public hasn't reacted more strongly to the issue. Favored targets of blame include tribal loyalties, corporate greed, conservative pols’ mendacity, Fox. All play a role, but I think underneath is what I think of as the Obama House Syndrome. 1/11
Wew okay, so there's some REALLY bizarre internet-wide scan traffic happening right now in @GreyNoiseIO . it started two/three hours ago, quieted down for a few minutes, then just started up again. I'm going to do my best to stream of conscious what's going on while we dig in:
Well, GreyNoise just broke one million IPs blasting the Internet with this traffic in one day. That's like..... 300% higher than our previous record of total IPs in a 24 hour period.

Here's a pair of annoying histograms. It's the delay in delivering VPC flow logs to an S3 bucket as measured by (S3 timestamp) - (timestamp in key).
The x axis is seconds delay, y axis is number of objects in that bucket. First diagram is everything, second is zoomed in.
For months now, letters having been popping up on my walk. I’ve been making this walk for two+ years and I swear that I had never noticed these letters. But every time I opened my eyes and looked down some unexpected alley there was another one. Cue serious Beautiful Mind vibes.
My son Sean has had 10+ seizures in the past couple of weeks. We're struggling to get to a good dosage of meds. I'm so angry & so sad. I'm supposed to be his protector...

Spent the day at @promptconf. It was a wonderful way to spend a rainy day, excellent speakers & talks, people were very friendly, and some excellent food. Already looking forward to next year. Can’t recommend enough. #promptconf2019
@patio11 There is an app called Alfred (https://t.co/FgxSXi7PJn) that does this exceptionally well for OS X. I’ve been a happy user for years, does everything I want well. You can run custom code based on commands and it’s easy to adjust.
