2020: Where a company like @wearfigs still thinks it’s cute to make an ad of a female physician (DO in this case) reading a “Medical Terminology for Dummies” book upside down & then expects her to turn around and pay $90 for a pair of scrubs. Guess what? We wised up. #boycottfigs
@wearfigs no thank you. The apology is not enough. I am truly disappointed by the ad with pink scrubs and upside down text. Female physicians have to prove themselves. 12 yrs out of med school and I still get mistaken for a nurse or told I am not old enough. Sorry. No more FIGS!
ICYMI: We’re the first health care system in the United States to achieve #carbonneutral status. This achievement eliminates our 800,000-ton annual carbon footprint, which is equal to taking 175,000 motor vehicles off the road. https://t.co/PY1OSZuEnq
@AwesomeReview I need clarification for colorectal screening.
- if 50 yrs, can have FIT annually or sigmoidoscopy every 10 yrs? (Is it “and” sigmoidoscopy q 10 yrs?). The only one who gets sigmoidoscopy every 5 yrs is person who has 1st deg relative with colon CA after age 60.
