I left even more aware of the hate directed against us, but also confident that, when we make our case calmly and compellingly, we truly can change hearts and minds.

This issue didn’t move the polls at all because the average voter looks at this photo and says “Wait that’s a Nazi tattoo?” And then they immediately sympathize with Platner’s story about getting the tattoo drunk in his twenties because they feel they wouldn’t have known any better either.

But residents of northern Israel might ask, “What ceasefire?”

Israel does almost nothing without close coordination with the U.S.
