Ganesha Ji - Who Never Leaves The Water…🚩

Not in a grand sanctum.
Not on a towering pedestal.

For nearly 1,700 years, a self-manifested Ganesha is believed to have remained beneath the waters at Guddattu Vinayaka, Kundapura, Karnataka.

Devotees glimpse Him through a small opening in the rock, where He rests in a natural pool known as Jaladhivasa Ganapathi.

Legend says Bhagwan Shiva Himself directed Ganesha to remain here after cooling the burning sensation caused by consuming excessive honey.

Even today, 1,000 pots of water are offered daily in the unique Aayira Koda Abhisheka seva, performed to soothe the Deva and seek His blessings.

A temple unlike any other.
