3/ So, what is Clear IVUS?

Simple! → it is an IVUS image with a saline bolus to clear out the lumen of blood.

Advantages: As with OCT, the ‘blood free’ IVUS images gives a much crisper image of the lumen contour.

@swatigar Its has a lot to do with the expertise, experience and training of cardiac imagers. Understanding of cardiac MRI is not very widespread in the country. Many general radiologists start trying their hand at cardiac MR after crash courses
