In view of the heavy rainfall in Gurugram on 24 August 2026, there is a possibility of waterlogging and traffic congestion at various locations across the district.

All corporate offices, Government and private schools/institutions are advised to guide their employees/staff to work from home on 25 August 2026.

The advisory will help reduce traffic congestion and facilitate smooth repair and maintenance works on roads and drains by civic agencies.

Citizens are requested to cooperate and plan their travel accordingly.

Gurgaon is a sham now. You have reels of angry officers on anti-encroachment drive but for years we have faced overflowing drains, badly maintained roads, garbage everywhere and even expensive cars drowning but nothing’s moved an inch. Last year you had people dying when cars drowned but human life has any importance.
