This shows that the current DeFi UX still isn’t good enough for situations like this. A simple slippage warning and checkbox clearly isn’t sufficient protection for a $50M trade.

Permissionless doesn’t have to mean unsafe. The industry needs better guardrails , smarter warnings, trade simulations, and mechanisms for large transactions.

As more capital flows into DeFi, scenarios like this need to be taken seriously and we need to build better protections.
