• Deeper app integration through App Intents for more reliable control over third-party applications

The majority of the processing runs locally on the device. Apple has positioned this as a more private approach compared to cloud-heavy assistants.

How well these capabilities will perform in practice is still unclear and will depend on the quality and consistency of the underlying models.
