@ufuoma_justice@greatermann It's piecemeal tinkering, not an investment in fleet renewal, unfortunately. Leasing aircraft from two different ACMI-providers is also not very efficient. BTW, 5N-BZZ is no longer operationg for United Nigeria AIrlines.
The attention of the Authority has been brought to a report by the Sahara
reporters on the airworthiness status of the recently crashed helicopter with registration marks 5N-BQG prior to the crash...
This is really sloppy reporting by SR. They mixed up two different choppers (C/N 760468 and 760486). Obviously, the Eastwind Aviation S76C was 760486. It was imported in 2012 by the owner of Nestoil and later sold to Eastwind (which seems to operate on the AOC of Omni-Blu).
EXCLUSIVE: 27-Year-Old Crashed Port Harcourt Helicopter โWritten Off, Scrappedโ By Canadian Aviation Company In 2018 With Registration Revoked | Sahara Reporters

Correction: this GIV was sold to an entity called SMB G-IV VI LLC. It's probably linked to United Aviation Services, the outfit that previously operated ex-N728LB (new reg. unknown), N100EK and 5N-AMM.
@iam_morobi The point is that no such helicopter is in Nigeria. One was scrapped in Canada; the other was flying in Nigeria. How can a scrapped helicopter fly anyway?
