iOS 26 turns a page on Apple’s legacy frameworks UIKit + SceneKit.
SceneKit is now soft deprecated. RealityKit is intended to take its place but has a distance to catch up to SceneKit which was already far behind today's popular 3D/game engines. If Apple wants developers to take them seriously on 3D & Spatial, they desperately need to level up their tools & frameworks.

@jrswiftjourney I don't think it's going to be deprecated anytime soon. It's still getting minor bug fixes from time to time and it works fine for simple games and for integrating 3D graphics into your apps.
We only succeed when you succeed. Our 5% royalty model only kicks in after your first $1M in gross revenue, meaning that if you make $1,000,001 you owe us 5 cents. And this is per title!
Also, revenue generated from the Epic Games Store will be excluded from that 5% royalty.

@RobinVanina I don't know about Android, but I've just ported the Cropout sample project to macOS and iOS with just a couple of clicks. No issues whatsoever 😀
