@atherenergy@shashank_jha_12@bhash They finally fixed it, but I put myself through hell for over a day, stressing about spending 2 lakh, and in just five days, I've dealt with so much frustration, all because of your service.
One week old scooty worth 2 lakh is in service center from yesterday. And I have been told chances are less i can get it today also. And to get your service i got 15 calls and 6 hours with calling road side assistance every 30 min and all of them making wrong promise. I will fight for my time , my mental harassment in the consumer court and take it seriously to high level.
Because for you customers hard earned money is only for making profit.
Hi Ather, what kind of staff have you kept, and what kind of “Emergency Roadside Assistance” is this where nobody seems to understand the meaning of the word emergency?
I paid approximately ₹2 lakh for an Ather Rizta Z 3.7 kWh, and within less than one week, my brand-new scooter has stopped charging.
Since 10 AM today, I have been calling Customer Care and Roadside Assistance. I called RSA 3 times and every time I was told that I would receive a call within 20 minutes. It has now been more than 1.5 hours, but there has been no callback, no pickup and no proper assistance.
Your service centre is only around 20 minutes away. If this is how your emergency service works, what should a customer do if they are actually stranded on the road?
I paid ₹2 lakh for this vehicle and expected a reliable product and proper service. Instead, within one week, I am facing issues with both your vehicle and your service.
Extremely disappointed. Please take this matter seriously and resolve it urgently.

After consistently expressing concerns since 10:30 AM, a pickup has now been scheduled, which unfortunately includes a 90-minute waiting period. You may refer to the screenshot illustrating when my location was shared.
Commendable effort, Team Ather. @tarunsmehta
FINAL UPDATE FOR NOW 🚨
After posting repeatedly on X and making approximately 10 calls to Ather Customer Care/Roadside Assistance, I STILL have not received a proper resolution for my brand-new Ather Rizta Z 3.7 kWh.
The scooter stopped charging within less than one week of purchase.
I have spent hours of my working day trying to get assistance, was repeatedly promised callbacks, and was even told during an online conference that Ather's team had not received the complaint from Roadside Assistance.
10 calls later, I am still without a proper resolution.
@atherenergy@tarunsmehta
I have documented the calls, timelines and communication. If Ather cannot resolve a basic charging failure and its own roadside-assistance escalation within a reasonable time, I will now proceed through the appropriate consumer grievance channels.
I paid approximately ₹2 lakh for a new vehicle. I expect the product and the after-sales service promised with it.
🚨 ANOTHER UPDATE
I have now called Ather/Roadside Assistance a TOTAL OF 7 TIMES regarding my brand-new Ather Rizta Z, which has stopped charging within less than one week of purchase.
Today, Ather arranged an online conference with their team. During the call, I was told that the Ather team had NOT received any complaint/escalation from the Roadside Assistance team.
This is extremely concerning.
I personally called Roadside Assistance 7 times. I was repeatedly told that my request was being handled and that I would receive a callback/pickup assistance.
So where exactly did my complaint go?
Is there no system in Ather to track an emergency roadside assistance request?
I don't know whether the Roadside Assistance team failed to communicate the complaint or whether the internal Ather team is missing the complaint—but clearly something is seriously wrong with the process.
@atherenergy@tarunsmehta
I want Ather to investigate this internally and provide me with a clear written explanation of what happened to my complaint.
7 calls. A brand-new scooter. Hours wasted. Still no proper resolution.
@atherenergy@tarunsmehta
I did not pay approximately ₹2 lakh just for a vehicle—I paid for the product, service and support that came with it.
Within less than one week, my brand-new Ather Rizta Z 3.7 kWh has stopped charging. What is even more disappointing is the response from customer care and the so-called emergency roadside assistance.
What kind of staff and emergency assistance system is this, where a customer repeatedly calls for help, is promised a callback within 20 minutes, and still receives no actual assistance?
If a customer is genuinely stranded on the road, does “emergency roadside assistance” mean waiting for hours?
A service centre is only around 20 minutes away, yet I was left waiting without proper support.
A company should not focus only on selling expensive vehicles and collecting money. Customers also deserve reliable products and proper after-sales service.
I request Ather leadership to look into this urgently and ensure that customers receive the service they are promised.

This is the amount of time I have already wasted today trying to get assistance for my brand-new Ather Rizta.
I have spent so much time calling Customer Care and Roadside Assistance on a working day. Because of this issue, I had to leave my office halfway through the day to arrange pickup and get help.
Despite repeatedly calling and being promised callbacks, I am still waiting and there is still no proper resolution.
A customer should not have to lose working hours and leave the office just to get basic support for a scooter that is less than one week old and cost approximately ₹2 lakh.
@atherenergy@tarunsmehta Is this the level of after-sales service customers should expect?
Still waiting for a proper resolution.

Timeline of what happened:
• Purchased Ather Rizta Z 3.7 kWh: Last Tuesday
• Charging issue started: Sunday
• Started calling Ather Customer Care: Around 10 AM today
• Was given the Roadside Assistance number
• Called Roadside Assistance 3 times from around 10:30 AM
• Every time I was promised a callback within 20 minutes
• Waited more than 1.5 hours without any proper callback or assistance
For a brand-new scooter costing approximately ₹2 lakh, facing a charging issue within one week and then receiving such poor support is extremely disappointing.
@atherenergy@tarunsmehta Please look into this urgently.
