iOS not letting you change the default notification sound per app is one of those "why hasn't this been a thing since 2017 let alone STILL isn't a feature" features
you can change the default notification sound across the system, but it's shared by all apps unless THE APP chooses another sound or it interacts with the contact system so you can choose a sound for a contact
System Settings has literally become a joke after macOS Ventura (SwiftUI rewrite 🫠)
This is what happens when you make every single pane an app extension, seemingly without thinking of any of the consequences.

well, that's the old mac for you. the modern mac platform is just first party loosely reskinned iOS ports, or 3rd party web apps that barely get the job done. no first party UX system feels human centric anymore... it's quite sad, what a time to be living in
At what point do we accept that web and C# apps were a mistake? I haven't seen a single one, ever, in my life, that's responsive, fast, and uses resources like they aren't unlimited. It's not funny, it affects daily work, it makes everyone lose a ton of time. 6 shameful seconds
@AleSchrammel@omaromoto@BLCNYY using my iphone as a touchpad for my mac. i know this kinda app already exists but it mimics mouse events which aren't as nice as trackpad events
Am I getting old or has everyone unlearned the most basic interaction design principles? Half the time in the iPhone’s phone app I don‘t know if tapping something will open a contact or call the person, when Spotify lags there‘s no indication if didn‘t register or is just loading
