Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday filed an application before the Madhya Pradesh High Court expressing regret for his allegedly defamatory statement about Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's son Kartikeya Singh.

Kartikeya Singh has filed a defamation complaint in a Bhopal court against the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Gandhi's application, filed by his lawyer, said that his statement was not related to Singh.

एक 10 साल की बच्ची दिल्ली की सड़कों पर गुब्बारे बेचती थी. ठीक वैसे ही, जैसे गाड़ियों-मॉल्स के बाहर लोग मिल जाते हैं. आपको एकाध गुब्बारे ख़रीदने की अपील करते हैं, और कहते हैं कि “ख़रीद लीजिए, रात को खाना खाना है.”

कैब ड्राइवर बबलू ने उसे फ़ुटपाथ से उठाया, और गाड़ी में खींच लिया. लड़की चिल्लाती रही - “पापा, बचा लो.”

बबलू ने उसे महरौली के पास ले जाकर दो बार उस बच्ची का रेप किया, और फिर उसका गला घोंटकर मार डाला. लाश जंगल में फेंक दी.

कल देर रात गुड़गांव में पुलिस मुठभेड़ में बबलू अरेस्ट हुआ, उसके पैर में गोली लगी.
