A non-profit organisation dedicated to the restoration, preservation and operation of Avro Shackleton aircraft and WR963, legacy and crews throughout the world.
WR963 is waking up for the public on 19th March and we would be delighted if you would come and join us for this now regular monthly event.
To make a saving, advanced tickets are available online, while full price tickets will still be available on the day.
So, if you're desperate for your Griffon fix, or just want to come along and see how we're getting on with WR963, you're more than welcome.
If that's not enough, check out our website for the "Have a go" option for that extra Griffon experience.
@Robhereagain@HistoricEngland@DCMSgovUK @ClassicAircraft We don't know anything yet in terms of the future of the aiport. However, rest assured we do have a number of contingency plans drafted to ensure this rare piece of history survives as a loving memorial to air and ground crews and all those connected with the Shackleton
After spending some of the Covid Recovery Grant as allocated. We were able to give '963 a nice 3,556 litre drink of AVGAS.
This will go a long way to keeping us running next year and maintaining our future self sustainability.
