This India trip taught me something: Indian rails are just decorated on news channels and media. The real situation is still the same. This time I am travelling from Durg to Bokaro Steel City by train 13426/St Maldatown Express.

The situation is even more horrible here.

Let us talk about the regular stuff. It is running around 2 hours late. Forgiveable, considering the track record.

I am in 2 AC, the best this train provides and check the pictures showing the cleanliness.

+ both the flushes of both the western toilets are broken since the very start and I have already received a regret from @RailMadad @Railmadad_DBG .

Very annoyed, frustrated, and sad!

An appeal to all the so called media houses, please don't get lost in propaganda distribution and raise the real issues.

Two different trains. Same infestation.

28 Jul, 18426 Durg–Puri: cockroaches, mosquitoes, unclean toilet, soiled pillow covers, AC failure at midnight, 5 hrs late.

1 Aug, 12843 Puri–Ahmedabad SF: cockroaches again — photo attached. Mosquitoes biting throughout.

Both ECoR. Both Puri-based rakes. Both AC coaches.

This is a depot-level pest control failure, not one bad coach.

Travelling with children and senior citizens.
