Not too happy with @CapitalOne Savor card rn -- I tried to make a payment in full 2 months ago but the app errored it out -- I've been charged interest even after paying in full every month since
#ALAAC22 is the place to be this summer – As LSSIRT President, I’ve organized an in-person panel on #SelfCareForLibraryStaff . Don’t miss it -- June 26 @ 8:30am Eastern. Register for #ALAAC22 at https://t.co/HjChaDHB8y #ALATogetherAgain
@NoetheMatt Which ones? (one of my comments could be taken that way, I was thinking more about the wordsmithing by 183 people being unworkable at times) #ALACouncil
Thank you @ALALibrary for opposing proposed cuts to School Library Programs across DC Public Schools.
We understand the pressures on the city budget; however, we can't ignore cuts to vital programs being made in our local schools.

@SenBobCasey Thank you for signing in support of emergency funding for libraries! Our communities rely on library services, and we're happy to know you're prioritizing keeping #LibrariesStrong.
@RobertEForte imho March is a little early for deciding about a late June conf. If it were me, I'd watch the pandemic rates and if things haven't plateaued by mid-May at the latest then consider canceling
Have you asked your elected officials to #FundLibraries? With millions of dollars in federal funding at stake, now is the time to take action.

@InkyLibrarian Hiya, I believe there is an internal copy that will be used to verify minutes/summary purposes. I have had success asking for snippets of specific discussions
@lindsonmars We should also remember that EB has the fiduciary responsibility & some of the info won't come out publicly with some of the details to #alacouncil#alafinancialdiscussion
@keribrary @phepbu @lindsonmars Odds are that it would have to be a guerrilla effort. A formal effort would add to the already surprisingly large #alacouncil A/V costs. :/
