Today, I had the pleasure of sharing my experience regarding our newly constructed road with Madam @aweitz1105, Practice Manager for transport East Africa at the World Bank. Before the road's development, I frequently had to cancel tours, particularly during the rainy season. However, with the introduction of a tarmac road, we are now able to operate seamlessly throughout all seasons.

Even in inclement weather, we can travel to farms and conveniently park our vehicles nearby. This has significantly alleviated the challenges my community faced in transporting milk and potatoes to the market. The ease of access for cars has markedly improved our daily lives.

I express my gratitude to the Government of Rwanda for consistently finding solutions for its citizens. Additionally, I extend my thanks to the @WorldBank for their invaluable support in making this project a reality. @WBG_Transport

Great visit of meter-gauge railway line from Dodoma to Kilosa. @WorldBank is keen to support upgrading the Dar-Isaka railway line through #climateresilient solutions. This could maximize freight transport and boost regional integration for #Tanzania and her neighbors.

@WBG_Transport Interesting that the discuss is still very much focused on the individual car. That’s not what is key to most of our client countries - it’s the e-buses and e-two and three wheelers. For which the economic case is much better than for cars. #ttdc23

Worst customer experience with @flyethiopian I have ever experienced. Business class flight cancelled due to COVID in 2020 and never refunded despite endless calls and e-mails. All other airlines were very flexible - better not to try to @flyethiopian ever again
