It's actually the opposite of this post. Developers are begging Nintendo for Switch 2 dev kits so they can port their games to the console. And Nintendo doesn't have to beg for COD, it releases on the Switch 2 on Friday (campaign early access).

While Microsoft and Sony are experiencing the lowest console sales in years, Nintendo is doing just fine. For most people who aren't Photo Mode Gamers, the $500 Switch 2 is good enough to play what they want.

The problem is that people who have been raised to believe one logo is the "cool" one and the other is the "kiddie" one aren't ready for the "kiddie" company to save the gaming industry a second time.

It's not over when Sony announces their handheld, it's already over.
