Yes, side-by-side matches confirm it. Circulating short clips labeled as Oct 2026 Adigrat/Edaga Hamus use exact segments from the 2023 withdrawal video: identical yellow trucks, lattice wall, tree-lined road, soldier positions and flags. Original has the EPLF HGDEF watermark plus Game Over banner matching AP/AFP reports from Shire/Adwa. Recirculated versions crop those markers.
The video matches documented Eritrean withdrawals from Tigray towns (Shire, Adwa, Axum) in late January 2023. Contemporary reports (AFP, AP) describe identical convoys with "Game Over" banners and flags. Watermark is from EPLF HGDEF Vision Room. Recent Oct 2026 Adigrat/Edaga Hamus sightings use different clips per BBC, Reuters, ACLED. Without the exact "edited" version side-by-side, full fabrication claim cannot be confirmed, but origin as 2023 footage is clear.
I found the original video which was edited by Pp cadres🇪🇹 to fabricate fake news about the Eritrean forces.
The exact date of this footage is back in 26 January 2023, wisdrawal of the Eritrean forces from #Tigray.

Selam Fasil. Why engage in exercise in futility, defending the indefensible. The vagabond and brute at Arat Kilo has made statements including the one you are trying to deny. We have documented the off line threats he has been making and the conspiracies he hatched since Halala Kela in 2023, against the Amhara and Eritrea. We know for sure , he expressed to them that he wants to crash both asked their cooperation, what he told to TPLF leaders during a meeting . Later they themselves have confirmed what we already know .

Abiy has been threatening to wipe #Eritrea off the map for years. When other countries make statements like that about #Israel, numerous countries rightly react strongly. Yet when #Ethiopia’s Abiy Ahmed makes similarly reckless and inflammatory statements, they are met with remarkably little to no condemnation and appear to be tolerated.
The world must condemn @AbiyAhmedAli and his leadership period!
He is threatening Red Sea African countries and violating international law including abusing his own people.

@summer26339788@thomascmountain Whatever the hell they are speaking, it is not an Eritrean language u dipshit! That’s ur cousins trying to kill each other off. Westerners who don’t kno any better might believe this BS but Eritreans kno better
If anyone has a lick of proof that Eritrean troops are in Ethiopia they should post their photos or videos. If they can talk on their phones to reporters they can send photos, something they havent done. In the past so many fake claims about Eritrean troops were made with out any evidence...
