⚠️ The full context of the conversation matters.

After their concert, Taehyung and Jungkook went to the hotel gym in the middle of the night and encountered people displaying sasaeng-like behavior.

In this live, they weren’t seriously scolding, lecturing, or attacking anyone. They were joking and playfully going back and forth in their regional accents while expressing their frustration about people coming to the hotel gym just to watch or approach them during their personal time.

They were not rejecting fans. In fact, they repeatedly said that people were welcome to come and work out, even saying that it didn’t matter whether there were twenty or thirty people. Their request was simple: come to work out, but please don’t come just to watch them, stare at them, or approach them.

And several details in the post do not match the actual conversation:

• Jungkook did not say “no” to “the girl asking about the 3kg dumbbell,” as claimed in the post. Taehyung asked Jungkook, “Was it when the person said, ‘Can I take the 3kg dumbbell?’” Jungkook clarified, “No, not that. What happened after that…”

• The line translated as “take care of the man next to her” was not something Taehyung said directly to the woman. It was simply part of their conversation during the live about the people they had encountered at the gym. They were not targeting her because she was a woman; the issue they were discussing was people watching, approaching, and interfering with their privacy.

• Taehyung saying that the person in the green shirt was “caught on camera” and that he would post the video was not a threat to publicly humiliate the person. Taehyung and Jungkook regularly film themselves working out and share those workout videos with fans. The person in the green shirt happened to be captured in that footage, so Taehyung was teasing that the person had ended up in the video. That is very different from deliberately filming the person and threatening to expose the person.

Most importantly, there is nothing misogynistic in this conversation. There are no degrading comments about women, no hatred toward women, no sexual objectification, and no hostility toward women as a group.
The issue they were addressing was not gender. It was behavior and personal boundaries.
Taking a few lines out of a playful conversation, removing the surrounding context, and presenting them as if Taehyung and Jungkook were targeting a woman creates a completely different story from what was actually said.

Calling this “misogyny” is simply not supported by the full conversation.
