Dom Starsia to a few reporters about the coaching turnover: “There are a lot of people out there in the world that think they know all the answers. I’m a little closer to it than most of them, and I don’t know all the answers.”
Honored to be part of both of Lars Tiffany’s two NCAA titles at UVA. After the 2021 one, we bused back from Hartford, Conn. we had two buses and the whole team got on bus one. I sat on Bus two in order to work - since I remembered 2019. Lars and his family, along with a strength coach were only ones on bus 2. One of the highlights was being with Lars on that bus trip, basking in the glow of back-2-back.
Some of my favorite moments on the job were supporting his program. We visited the Seals at Naval Warfare Command in Coronado and were special guests of Sony Pictures by the head of the studio.
Very humbled to say my second lacrosse book is out in the world. "The Long Red Line" from Three Hills/Cornell Press takes readers through last year's NCAA tournament, examines Cornell's 48-year title drought and the philosophies and techniques it used to win a title one year after missing the NCAA tournament.

A tribute to Jim Ducibella, a @VaSportsHoF inductee, longtime @PilotSportsNow scribe and prize-winning author. "He was impossible not to like."

Happy birthday to Bruce McGonnigal! 🎂
@bmcgonnigal was the leading tight end on the late-80s/1990 powerhouse @UVAFootball teams, leading the team in receiving yards in 1988 and number of receptions in 1989.
He finished his career averaging 15.1 yards per reception, setting a then-school record of 1556 yards as a tight end.

Tonight is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride.
If he were to make the same journey from Boston to Lexington today, he could stop at 7 Dunkin locations. (via Reddit)
