@BlokeWorking@bigphil321 Nigel’s son and daughter are doing the daily running, but Nigel is still here and working (spotted polishing a bronze cross yesterday, ready for a funeral).
@Forest2Furnitur@AllenGrove15@bigphil321 Thank you for the lovely comments, and sorry for your loss, I’m glad we were able to help you at such a difficult time.
@AllenGrove15@bigphil321 We conduct around 3,500 funerals a year, so our fleet is used daily & maintained in‑house to keep them ‘factory fresh’, even on longer trips like to Cheshire. Our founders believed in reinvesting to keep standards high and that’s why families choose us.
@Sc0ttishViking@bigphil321 Hopefully they were dipped headlights! When we are in cortege, it’s company policy, as we feel it helps show that we are together & makes us easier to spot. Not all funeral directors do this, but we find it enhances visibility and helps the procession stay clearly identifiable.

Thanks @itsinnottingham for the invite.
An early start today as 11 of our vehicles, repudiated to be part of the largest fleet of @RollsRoyces in Western Europe, met at Saxondale Shell before heading to Cambridge in convoy to support a family.
Thank you to the @Shell team for looking after us this morning.
