I'm not defending the morons trying to driving in active snow...but lets stop pretending like everyone can just "relax for a few days". People have jobs. People have businesses. People like me need to get flu meds for their kid when he gets sick on Saturday. Just STFU.
Southerners for the most part stay home. They don’t shovel their driveway or go out. They just wait the 48 hrs or so until roads are safer. All the northern transplants that tell us we are are stupid are the ones that choose to drive in this even though our cities don’t have the equipment to make the roads as safe as the ones you came from because weather like this happens literally once every 10-20 years.
Just stay home and relax for a few days. It’s not that hard.
As a doctor who treated patients for decades, my top priority is protecting children and families. Multiple children have died or were hospitalized from measles, and South Carolina continues to face a growing outbreak. Two children have died in my state from whooping cough. All of this was preventable with safe and effective vaccines.
The vaccine schedule IS NOT A MANDATE. It’s a recommendation giving parents the power. Changing the pediatric vaccine schedule based on no scientific input on safety risks and little transparency will cause unnecessary fear for patients and doctors, and will make America sicker.
@Brock4MVP Yeah I’m in Raleigh and I’ve been to half a dozen canes playoff games. I’ve been to louder regular season games in Nassau. She’s not all there
@unclebillyjohn@AndySpecht While I was on council I criticized her on Facebook for coming to council with a tacky oversized check or something. She then refused to participate in any meeting I was in for 3 years. I was on the town's legislative agenda committee (I CREATED IT ACTUALLY).
