I've just heard on NPR an "act of kindness" where an 88 yo was admitted with #CV19 but bc of lack of ventilators, he requested "no ventilation" so a young patient could use it. He died.
This was not an "act of kindness" or "sacrifice".
This was a victim of murder by Trump's ego.

@liziwake A lot of people, who are in normal times self-isolating by accident or by need - working from home, dealing with mental health issues, living far from others, etc., comment that the difference now is, that before there always the option of going somewhere, even if not used.
