@gbiondizoccai @drjohnm Would pts with the classic high risk LM stress test with hypotension on the treadmill and/or arrhythmias/symptoms at low workload be randomized to med therapy? Will anti-anginals and plaque stabilizer meds save them in those moments if they want to exercise beyond 4 METs?

@drGKuftinec Build rapport with patients. Reciprocate with pcp’s and other referalists. Trust what you know & be evidence-based. Certainly don’t be afraid to ask for help on tough cases from either prior attendings/mentors or new colleagues. Good luck Gabi you’ll be great!

70F, 2 weeks of intermittent chest tightness and sob for < a minute at rest. Nuc stress 6 mins on Bruce, stopped for fatigue. No ecg 🔺. Anteroapical ischemia. Coronary spasm or bridge as the culprit? First two shots at baseline, second two after 200 IC nitro 💉
