He himself was affected by it and there are calls now to stop talking about grooming gangs because we’ve covered it before and it’s racist. The same trap IMO.

What level of academic dishonesty is this?

Associate professor Ella Cockbain finds in her own research that 96% of rape gang offenders are non-White, 80% are Pakistani.

Then she publishes an article in the Guardian saying there is no evidence that any one ethnic group is overrepresented. It is a "far right stereotype that spread widely."

A few years later she writes another article in the Guardian repeating these claims, and accuses Sulla Braverman of "overt racism" for saying that the majority of offenders are Pakistani.
