Our room for the coming days in Houston. I don’t even know what to say about this. This is just unreal. No words.
Huge huge thank you to JJ Watt for giving me and my friends the opportunity to stay at a place like this🙏🙏🙏
@AlabamaBSB Damn I love a bunch of adults coming on here calling a bunch of college kids names because they lost a baseball game. It’s one thing to be upset but damn, they’re still kids.
We found another surreal place on our way. I know some people will say I’m too positive about everything I see, but this place was crazy. They had a shooting range in the store.
@gratifihouston And the other alternative is to eliminate a feeder roads near in those areas and that will put more traffic on Washington or in the Heights neighborhood streets which we all know is definitely not a good idea either.
@gratifihouston There aren’t any feeder roads to speak of in the areas around Houston Ave. or Taylor St. They’re basically glorified on ramps. The feeder roads at Studemont will still flood being right on the bayou unless they built another unsightly ramp to elevate those too
The best discovery of our road trip has been a musician called Ella Langley. We had never heard of her before, but after hearing her on pretty much every country radio station, we’ve become big fans. She’s basically the soundtrack of our trip.
@gratifihouston Hey I see your point and think it looks horrendous too, if there was a way to get around 18 wheelers hitting the damn bridge at Houston Ave without it, that’d been great, because that was also a reason they decided on this crazy ass design.
I practice law in Collin County, Texas.
Karmelo Anthony will be convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
As he should.
He murdered that boy because he was raised to hate white people and to view himself as a victim in every situation.
It’s a culture thing.
@25YearsAgoLive We were coming home from a mission trip in Mexico and it took us 8 hours to get from Sugar Land to Cypress, and our church we knew was flooded because it was right on Cypress Creek so we had to go to a near by shopping center to get picked up. 1/4 of our houses were flooded.
