Here's the thing: there's so many single player games that have replay value to many people if they like the story, or the gameplay feels good to control and be immersed in. Not to mention we're in the age of achievements and DLC.

Multiplayer games are good for social interaction, but have you ever put someone onto a single player game in that social interaction? Nothing wrong with liking what games and genres you like, but there's genres for a reason.
