Meleek Thomas in his first two games for the Cavs:
20 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 1 STL | 7/15 FG | 2/5 3P
30 PTS | 4 REB | 7 AST | 4 STL | 10/24 FG | 4/10 3P
The fact he fell to the second-round is insane 😳
@celtics Chris Cenac Jr @chriscenacjr has the potential to be in the Rookie of the Year award ladder if he gets enough minutes! Love his hustle on both ends and paint dominance! His clutch shot to force overtime shows he has ice in his veins!
𝐶𝐻𝑅𝐼𝑆 𝐶𝐸𝑁𝐴𝐶 𝐽𝑅 🏀🍀
The rookie made his summer league debut EXPLODING on the court to end the night with 14pts, 10reb, & 4blk and an impressive Buzzer Beater to Win the game!

Why is nobody talking about Meleek Thomas?
For all the talk about age this year, what he just did in his debut is absolute madness.
Meleek Thomas was a freshman who averaged 15.6 PPG as a secondary option to Darius Acuff Jr. at Arkansas, and people somehow let him slip.
It’s genuinely wild how he fell all the way to the 34th pick just for the Cavs to trade up and scoop him up.
His game is already built for the NBA, and seeing him constantly attack the rim instead of settling for the midrange jumpshot in his very first game is incredibly impressive.
Cleveland Cavaliers got themselves an absolute gym rat.
In his mind, Caleb Wilson was never a tier below Dybantsa, Peterson, or Boozer
And he played like he was trying to prove that tonight
I was most impressed with his shotmaking off the dribble, but his eye-popping athleticism flashed as always
