@tylermilliken_ It’s amazing what players can do if they dont spend every day around the Red Sox coaching staff. First Rivera now tolle. Pretty stunning inditement over the last 6 defensive innings, but they won’t realize this internally

@Jared_Carrabis Red Sox have scored in 1 or fewer innings of the game in 7 of 21 games. Hard to be a winning baseball team when you have only 1 way to win baseball games, starters going 6, and that it requires an above average performance from a single player every night. Single point of failure
@tylermilliken_ As much as I’m a fan of yoshida, it’s remarkably telling of organizational dysfunction that, by game 10 of the season, your two hitter is a guy you’ve been trying to trade for two years and don’t have a real spot for on the team
@tylermilliken_ The sooner teams learn to not waste challenges in meaningless counts (ie, anything that doesn’t result in K or BB) and only use them in high leverage situations, the better those teams will do. There should never be a situation where the Sox have no challenges in the eighth
@PeteSampson_ How does this foot w/ the report that ND couldn’t add players from the soccer team to the football roster mid season (bc it had to be officially set over the summer) to kick? Why is the basketball rule different? Is it because football is the higher revenue / scholarship sport?
@PeteSampson_ The question may become is the order of teams not playing conference champ weekend locked. If one of byu / Alabama loses, it becomes an either or between ND and Miami. But if ND is ahead of Miami this week, it’s hard to argue they’d become behind Miami next
@redsoxstats Is there any chance this is Michael wacha 2.0? Feels almost like 2013 postseason where wacha was shoving and had a unique release because of his height
@tylermilliken_ blue jays clinch math is complex. They’re as close as possible w/o officially having it. Bc DET play CLE and BOS, at least one of top 7 AL teams is guaranteed at least 73 Ls. Blue jays are in unless the one 73L team is CLE. Tm, if CLE, BOS or DET loses, TOR clinch
