@stuheritage Thoroughly enjoyed your 1 March 2014 TM piece and came here in search of a follow-up.
Raising kids does raise the bar for personal time essentials, I know. Though, it does ‘get better’ too—yay daily showers!
Have you revisited meditation to help manage your Bluey period ?
@Fwd_Party A term limit doesn’t stop the duopoly from controlling who gets access to those terms. #ApprovalVoting
I really hope y’all aim higher, because you won’t get all you want and this ambition isn’t going to change much except the names and faces fronting an entrenched establishment.
Approval voting is a way forward for those seeking representation in the interests of the governed, @AndrewYang@Fwd_Party
Help make this simple, effective change a reality and your party will have a real opportunity to improve our society.
Admittedly a lame take on modest activism, but my goodness the gears of progress grind slow. We’ll have this wonky calendar system and ‘weekdays’ for untold generations. The time for things like Metric standardisation in schools is long overdue... #DaylightSavingsTime
Spring forward is settling in and my apathy resumes. Better to just adjust winter schedules, I think. Time passes all the same with change the only constant.
@mwlauthor This is the tale of #SuperMan pitched in this time of post-2020 woe and rational, thinking people are supposed to see some greater social message from non-virtuous improvement as some dudes squabble over who made the better art from $100 million in doctored photos ?
Aside from being toxic, I think the “friendzone” is a young person’s complaint. When you’re in your teens & 20s it feels so easy to make friends.
Over 35 most everyone is like:
“A FRIEND? Thank Christ, this is amazing, let’s do projects, please don’t change jobs & move away.”

@HarlemJ11 I was reminded of your thread on inflation: some folks just willing to pay more and drive up prices accordingly (often enabled by ‘cheap money’ e.g. student loans)
@Maxtropolitan@RalphNader The forever shame assigned to an honest campaign and honest voters certainly hasn’t served these newly minted drinkers well: https://t.co/wuqIyXT1tQ
I wonder which will happen first: the rover’s plutonium fuel runs out, or I learn to spell “perseverance” with an “a” on the first try. I keep trying to spell it like “persistence,” “permanence,” and “precedence.”
