@MathsImpact Understanding/ knowledge of your pupils! Also I believe a relationship with the pupils ensures that a positive/growth mindset is established and maintained due to the relationship! A mutual belief that they can achieve and be successful, the teacher will make this possible!

My ideas always seem better until I put them in reality! 24 x 1.2m sticks painted and varnished ready for staff meeting of how to teach and practice times tables using a counting stick! Eyfs have a post but I’m worried they might be a health hazard so they are on hold!
