@radicalmortis Your point would be accurate IF transgender women were afforded the social status of “the man”. The status of “the woman” is too pure for them or whatever, but they are not given the social status of men. It’s more akin to how gay men are treated in social conservatism.

@mewnoelle Nah, it’s not too late. The results will be different than if you had started earlier, but the panoply of presentation in cis women means that you’re almost guaranteed to pass at the same level as some cis women.

However, the difficulty is not “putting a vagina in a male host” as the human body is NOT that picky with what goes in it as long as genes are the same.

Botox isn’t just cosmetic, for example. It’s a shame that HRT is so associated with trans people, but trans people don’t do that. Transphobes do.

Ideally, the government puts the money towards services that increase the wellbeing of those that receive those services, which should include BOTH cis and trans female care, ALWAYS.
