@TMobile device insurance by @Assurant is a scam.
If your device gets damaged and you file a claim, if you buy a replacement device they will deny your claim for the damaged device.
Assurant will claim they have no record of the insured device and falsely deny your claim.
@figma Surprised Figma still hasn’t released the ability to generate ideas on the canvas and instantly convert things into functional prototypes (like Google Stitch)
Figma Make and Design files being separated is a very janky workflow
@oykun@madebycontrast@figma@paper Figma isn’t built on html/css like paper is. Buying it and integrating it wouldn’t be trivial. It’d probably be easier to add AI prompts directly in the Figma UI than integrating a complete different tech stack
@lucacs I'd predict that whoever builds a canvas-based design tool that can render real code as screens (frames) without sacrificing on freeform exploration will likely win in the future.
Framer feels like they're the closest to this, however doesn't support custom codebase projects
@qamarunshadow@Gon0x_@paper@figma It seems like it can connect to an actual codebase so you can pull in existing screens and iterate on them.
Figma Make generates brand new code with each file and you have to prompt it to get it to match. And even if it matches visually, the code is not connected
@DJRonnieG@Jillybean_502@beyoncegarden You can prevent it by having someone apply Termidor around all the ground contact points of your house. Termidor supposedly lasts many years and will kill the entire colony.
If you have a wall opened up, spray the studs with BoraCare which makes the wood poisonous to termites.
@elonmusk Why don't you post this type of content about Putin?
You know...the dictator who decided to invade a sovereign nation and start this conflict?
@facebook And they make it impossible to contact support. They try linking me to a page to self-correct the issue...but the buttons on the page go to 500 server error 😂
@facebook business backend tools are so completely broken. It feels like Meta has just given up on Facebook entirely.
I created a new ads account, instantly gets restricted, restrictions get removed but it's still locked and now no way to fix.
@sketch@oykun IMO it’s this strategic decision to not build a cross platform browser version of Sketch that let Figma dominate market share.
Sketch had a great product, but not making it easily available cross platform with frictionless file sharing and collab didn’t help
@figma@figma genuine question, will toolbar positioning ever be customizable in the future?
It seems like just letting users drag/drop toolbar positions and ordering would let users optimize for their own personal workflows.
Just an idea, would love to hear why it wouldn't work
@daveyheuser I don’t necessarily disagree, but right now the other tool isn’t differentiated enough in a way that would make it worthy for designers and companies to switch. A recent example of a successful design tool differentiation pivot was Framer (prototype to website tool)
