@eurofounder You don’t have to like it. Don’t go there again or don’t eat anywhere out again that automatically incorporates tip. Also, the population in the restaurant you entered most likely didn’t change mid meal. You chose to go into that restaurant without fear.

@eurofounder Also, food pricing on the menu is lower. In some places, the menu pricing will be significantly higher and then tip is not needed. NYC has such restaurants. They’re not popular bc of the meal pricing. It’s all relevant. Europe does it their own way. We have our own.

@eurofounder In America, at many places you receive bread for free, water for free, whereas in Europe they charge for everything. Also, they post a tiny sign that will say “bread 3 euros” easily missed. We don’t do silly charges like that here and we are extremely up front on the charges.
