This week we are highlighting a past plate work project that we modeled into built-up pipe sections with transitions and flanges. Many small parts made up the 1,100 shop drawings but the entire project only consisted of 35 #tons of #steel.

This student recreation center at @csunorthridge required 2,100 tons of #steel. Our #steeldetailing team created over 8,100 shop and erection drawings for this project. This included #handrails, #guardrails, #stairs, stadium seating for the new gym, and a running track.

We are proud to have worked on this 2018 #AISC IDEAS² Award winning structure on the campus of the United States Air Force Academy.

The main structure had many sloping members that were moment connected together in A-frames and required over 350 tons of #steel.

This 780-foot-long bridge spans the Cabinet Gorge in Montana. This project required 914 tons of steel and 532 shop drawings.

Located in Corvallis, OR, this v-shaped building consisted of two three-story wings and required 700 tons of steel. This building is used by Oregon State Credit Union as their operations center. We completed this job in 2015 for Sunsteel.
