Q: BIGBANG had originally been scheduled to perform at Coachella in 2020, but the festival itself was canceled due to the pandemic. At the time, fans were especially disappointed since it was expected to be their first full-group comeback stage after the members completed their military service.

TY: I remember that. Back then, I even wondered, “Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be for us.” But looking at it now, it feels even more meaningful that we can begin our 20th anniversary with a Coachella performance. It’s also a stage we’ve always wanted to stand on at least once. Since it’s such a significant year marking our 20th anniversary, all the members seem to be approaching it with a very special mindset.
