The true story from the captain of the Libyan national team about what happened in Nigeria we left the hotel at 6 am to the airport, the plane took off at 9 am, the flight duration was 4 hours in the air, we arrived in Nigeria at 1 pm Libyan time, our clothes were searched while we were inside the plane for an hour, then the company responsible for transporting us from one city to another was delayed for another 3 hours, even though we went on a private plane and there is an airport in the city we intend to play in and we can land in it. It was evening and it is difficult to move around in Nigeria because of the gangs and bandits. We contacted the company responsible for transporting us and securing the mission, and the response was that there was no police at this time due to the increased risk, then after a long time they came in three small buses that were not air-conditioned and a police car, and we were accompanied by the two cars of the Libyan embassy, and the road was full of checkpoints and stops, and they took us on roads that were not main roads, we entered the forests and then returned to an unpaved road in pitch darkness without any lighting, we followed each other by the lights of the vehicles, the duration of the trip was 5 hours in an atmosphere full of dangers, we arrived at the hotel in hours Late nights, not to mention the hotel environment This is Africa and it is not the first time that we have been received and treated in this bad way. The question here is... How long will we continue to receive teams and national teams with the best reception in the best airports, the best transportation companies, the best hotels and the best treatment? So we do not always have to show a tolerant face if necessary to deter these things from happening again. We have been suffering from these things for many years and we have no problem tolerating that, but how long will the Libyan clubs and national team be treated like this? A solution must be found for this problem. We also demand that the competent authorities look into these actions and that reciprocity be done.
