پیشنهاد می‌کنم فردا در مسیر کاخ سفید، سری به کتابخانه کنگره آمریکا بزنید و ده‌ها نقشه تاریخی مزین به نام دریای همیشگی پارس را در آرشیو آن کتابخانه ببینید، بمانند این نقشه بسیار چشم نواز با قدمتی بیش از ۵۰۰ سال.

The Persian Gulf is one of the few bodies of water in the world whose name has a history of around 2,500 years and will forever be known as the Persian Gulf.
I suggest that tomorrow, on your way to the White House, you visit the Library of Congress and view the dozens of historical maps adorned with the name "Persian Gulf" in its archives, including this particularly striking map that dates back over 500 years.

خلیج فارس فقط یک نام نیست، بلکه یک واقعیت تاریخی است. هزاران سال است که ایرانیان، اعراب و غربی‌ها این پهنه‌ی آبی میان ایران و شبه‌جزیره‌ی عربستان را با نام واقعی و یگانه‌اش، خلیج فارس، می‌شناسند.

تصمیم گزارش‌شده رئیس‌جمهور ترامپ برای تحریف تاریخ، در صورتی که درست باشد، توهینی به مردم ایران و تمدن بزرگ ما است.

اما مقصر اصلی این اقدام شرم‌آور نیز کسی جز علی خامنه‌ای و رژیم ضد ایرانی‌اش نیست که کشور ما را آن‌چنان تضعیف کرده‌اند که قدرت‌های خارجی به خود اجازه توهین به هویت ملی ایران و‌ تحریف تاریخ جهان را می‌دهند.
