Burkinabé students now need government permission to study abroad. This means that whether your father is a cabinet minister or a private millionaire, there is no way for their children to escape the state of the country's educational system

Which leaves them no choice but to make sure that the facilities available to students in the country are befitting of their own children.

That is how a country develops an actual elite. Not like Nigeria where as soon as I finished secondary school, my parents put me on a plane to England to enjoy a standard of education that no Nigerian alive today will ever enjoy in Nigeria. The class my parents belong to is called a pseudo-elite.

A proper elite is what is coming together now in the AES. Just wait. If there is no change of Nigeria's trajectory, within 10 years, Nigerians will start going to university in Burkina Faso and making it out to be a status symbol.

This is Dolapo Babatunde Tanimola, the only witness in the case between Femi Gbajabiamila, Tinubu’s govt, and Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who died mysteriously in a hotel where he was lodging.

He was said to be the “principal” witness and only source of proof in the entire saga. Unfortunately, his mysterious death came only four (4) days after the Presidency arrested Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi.

The official report claimed that he died in a fire incident at the hotel.

What is the name of this hotel and where is it located? No one knows yet. What sort of fire incident killed only Dolapo Babatunde Tanimola in the entire hotel? No answer still.

One stage of marriage that almost nobody talks about is the BURNOUT STAGE.

It's that season where you've been together for years, you've heard every story a hundred times, you know each other's routines by heart, there are no butterflies and life starts feeling predictable. The excitement that came naturally in the early years isn't there anymore. Conversations become shorter, sex and intimacy dissappear, you rarely go on dates and the marriage slowly starts becoming boring . Many couples become scared at this point because they think they have fallen out of love or they married the wrong person.

The truth is, almost every long marriage goes through this stage.

The danger is that during this season,you might meet someone new and they suddenly seem more exciting than your spouse. A new person laughs at your jokes, asks about your dreams, compliments you, and makes you feel noticed again. You begin comparing that fresh excitement to the comfort and boring routine at home without realizing you're comparing the beginning of one relationship to the middle of another. That comparison has destroyed many good marriages.

The couples who survive this stage always have a long and happy marrriage. love was never designed to survive on feelings alone. Feelings come and go. What keeps a marriage alive is intentional effort. If you reach this stage, you have to start dating each other again, create new memories together, travel, try new hobbies, laugh more, communicate better, and become curious about each other again instead of assuming you already know your spouse.

The burnout stage is not proof that your marriage is over.

It's simply an invitation to stop living on autopilot and start choosing each other again.

Sadly, many couples quit during this season.

The strongest couples rebuild during it.

This afternoon I took the boys out to a beautiful restaurant in Rome.

After lunch, they left the table untidy and wanted to leave with me. I called them back and asked them to observe everyone else for a few minutes to see what they would do after eating.

They observed that everyone clears their table and leaves it very tidy, just the way they found it.

I asked them to do the same. That’s first-world behavior.

Leaving your table untidy after eating in a restaurant is third-world behavior, and that’s what you often see in our country.

They appreciated the lesson and took note of it as part of their experience.

Court orders INEC to deregister Peter Obi’s NDC over logo infringement

A Federal High Court in Lokoja has overturned its previous judgment directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party, effectively reversing all actions taken as a result of that ruling.

In a judgment delivered on Friday, Justice Isah Dashen held that the court’s December 10, 2025 decision affected the rights of the Peace Movement Party (PMP), which was not joined in the suit despite claiming ownership of the logo used by the NDC.

Speaking to journalists after the ruling, counsel to the PMP, C.S. Ekeocha, explained that the party approached the court after discovering that the NDC’s registration was based on a logo it had earlier submitted to INEC before the legal proceedings began.

According to him, the court found merit in the party’s application and set aside the earlier judgment. It also ordered all parties to revert to the position they were in before the December 10, 2025 ruling and directed the claimants to include every necessary party in the case to ensure all issues are fully determined.

Ekeocha said the decision means every step taken by INEC in compliance with the earlier judgment including the recognition of the NDC, the issuance of its certificate of registration, its inclusion in INEC’s records, and any appearance on ballot papers must be withdrawn pending the final determination of the substantive suit.

He clarified that the case itself has not been concluded, noting that the court only vacated its earlier judgment to allow all affected parties to be heard before a fresh decision is made.

Ekeocha also dismissed claims that the court merely ordered parties to maintain the status quo, insisting that the ruling specifically restored the position that existed before the December 10, 2025 judgment.

Take a look at the podcast Mr Eazi and Temi’s had, the husband was asked who his celebrity crush is, he mentioned his wife (protective instinct), the wife then mentioned Michael B. Jordan, and still spoke about not being a looks person, indirectly saying her man is not handsome, and Michael B. Jordan isn’t her crush because of looks, but talent which sounded so defensive without Mr Eazi even attacking. That means she likes him because of his looks before his talent.

And the video still went online after putting the man in an uncomfortable position, women don’t care like that. Zero protective instinct.

Look at Adekunle Gold and Simi too, even if you have a celebrity crush, that nonsense should end before you get married, she still worships JCole til date, her husband had to meet him and even called her to talk to him and she lost her cool on the call. A lot of times when you see a couple come together to seminars to talk, ask them questions that will expose one and another, the man will always try to protect his wife, women just talk.

The solution; if you ever find yourself in such situation where you and your wife are asked personal questions, tell her to go first, her response will determine what you should say.
