I felt used and dumped!

I also Lost my job to a market I could predict—how’s that for irony? Yes, I’ve tried many things just to know where I fit into.

More recently, I was thinking maybe I should get back into trying many things because I took a course on UI-UX. I’ve designed some landing pages. Funny enough, you might find this on Dribbble. I’ve gotten into content creation, which I still think I have a whole lot to do with. And yes, I do talking, mostly on live streams—past months or years on @HTX_Global, @CoinWOfficial, @Gate_io, and this is mostly in the financial Market. But one thing stood out: I have a flair for market analysis. Technical analysis. Understanding financial projections. That was me!

Back in 2020 Q4, I rolled up my sleeves, did the dirty work, learned it all (Crypto, Forex, Stocks, etc). Fast forward, I’ve gotten better. Stronger handle on it. Last June- August, I nailed an interview with @tokenmetricsinc — scored 70 on pre-screening market analysis, no joke. Live, real-world stuffs, plus several rigorous screenings via @testgorilla assessment. Token metrics, token metrics, token metrics.

Eventually, I made it to the work trial stage. At this point, I wrote resignation to ruthxia of @HTX_Global (since it was a requirement to fill in to this new role as an upload of resignation must be submitted on) @checkr.

Then… crickets. Everyone and everywhere that was looking sweet and rosy suddenly turned sour. I found myself logged out of the company email, and a "..Sorry email" followed. I begged for feedback. Nothing. I went into a funny moment, questioning my skills. Wasn’t sure what I could do.
It hit me hard. I didn’t realize how hard it was. I was doing this 40 hours of work in the midst of doing many sleepless nights to help my wife and our newborn at the time, plus all spiritual demands at the time. It was real pain!

Thought maybe I should write articles, try this, try that. But all I want is to analyze markets and give people opportunities to invest—forex, crypto, whatever. I love it.

I checked coding—not my thing. Just want basics of Python, SQL for data analytics. That’s it. No leading projects or building. From the moment, I saw it: I cave in with all these experiences. This is me saying, without fear, I have a big deal to do with finance. Trust me, if you’ve got an opportunity, I’m open—to talk, stream, present. I’d love to take CFA, but no funding. Wanna sponsor me? I’m in.

I’m big on financial projections, modeling. I want to go deep. That September was a blow. Couldn’t recover for months. Messaged HR over and over. What went wrong? Cold silence....like, no answers. Guys, this is my 2024 pain, my finance story. Real story. My heart. My hurt. My job hunting story.

Sharing this after months...since I am getting healed—and maybe this will help others stuck in the feeling of being ‘used and dumped’ especially in their journey of landing their dream jobs.

As I ponder upon the last twelve months, that just passed, like a dream...my feeble heart is filled with gratitude to the GREATEST whose immeasurable mercies have counted me and my household worthy to witness the beginning of this new phase.
